pie baking

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. 


Which means today my family baked lots of yummy pies, one of which was apple, my dad's favorite pie.
For a few hours this afternoon, flour covered our dining room table, apple juice covered my fingers (and found it's way into my belly...) & the delicious smell of a pie baking filled the house.
And of course I had to pull out my camera to capture as much as I could of this happy time of year.


It's great to be home :)

 

 

 

all registered for spring

Hours of planning were over in a matter of two minutes. But it was the best two minutes EVER. And I have the greatest spring schedule. Only one class Wednesday & Friday? 8 am only Tuesday & Thursday (and it's with my super awesome friend)? I think YES.

oh fall...

I just love fall.
It's my absolute favorite season.
I love the crisp weather and the colorful trees, and it just so happens that my window has a perfect view. :)

letter to Anna

Writing to my Compassion child, Anna, makes me so happy. I imagine her cute little brown face lighting up when she hears that she got a letter, and I imagine her little fingers gently holding the pictures as she stares at them, treasuring them. Most of all, I pray that she will feel loved and adored by her Heavenly Father, even in her circumstances.

How can I be worrying about silly things like homework? 

And how can I just be cruising through college life and not doing anything to make a difference for the millions of people who need a Difference?
